A brand new summer update is coming to VORTEK Spaces! This smaller update improves overall project consistency and usability by refining camera behavior, simplifying interface interactions, and addressing several stability issues. It also introduces better control over top-down views and includes multiple fixes impacting object animations and general workflow reliability.

Persistent Camera State for Better Continuity
Your camera position and settings are now preserved when you close and reopen the application, ensuring a smoother workflow continuity.
For example, if you exit a project with top view enabled, it will stay in top view when the project is reopened. This makes it easier to pick up exactly where you left off without readjusting your camera settings.
Improved Default Lighting Balance
The default brightness has been slightly reduced from 2.5 to 2. This adjustment provides a more balanced visual output across projects and helps prevent overexposed renders.
Enhanced Top-Down View Controls
Working in top-down views is now more intuitive with the addition of a dedicated clipping distance control bar.
This new control makes it easier to fine-tune cutaway views directly from the interface, improving precision when working on layouts and overhead perspectives.
User Interface Improvements
- Added an option in the Quality settings menu to disable automatic sleep mode.
- Removed the ability to restore hidden messages from the General settings tab.
- Added a button in Demo mode to book a live demonstration with technical support.
- Separated download and open actions for source files for improved usability.
Consistent ClosetPro Import Units
Projects imported from ClosetPro are now consistently set to inches, ensuring accurate scaling and reducing the need for manual adjustments after import.

- Fixed an issue where series of windows were not cutting openings correctly.
- Resolved a problem where windows did not cut through walls during object animations.
