What’s New for Video Recording?
Modernized Video Introductions
The video introduction displaying the project name and author has been refreshed for a cleaner, more professional appearance — providing a cleaner and sharper first impression in presentation videos.
Color or Grayscale Watermark
Users with the Custom Branding Integration add-on can now choose whether their logo watermark appears in full color or grayscale, offering greater flexibility across different presentation styles.
Reorganized Video Customization Menu
Watermark and intro/outro settings are now grouped into dedicated sections, making video customization faster and more intuitive.
How Has the Interface Improved?
A few improvements have been made across the board to accommodate for a better readability and a smoother experience.
- Improved keyboard shortcut visuals for better readability.
- Cleaner context menus for viewpoints, animations, and project properties.
- Refined object animation menu with clearer animation type distinctions.
- Confirmation message when entering fullscreen mode.
- Mozaik import now restricts file selection to
.desfiles only.
What Mozaik Fixes Are Included?
Some critical fixes were added with this update:
- Missing textures no longer block imports: Mozaik projects with missing textures now import correctly.
- Molding rendering: Moldings are now displayed accurately in affected projects.
Important: Mozaik .des files cannot be shared between workstations. To share a project, export it as a .vokproj file instead.
Other Fixes & Improvements
- Resolved black artifacts in mirror reflections.
- Added the “Access my account” button to the user profile page.
- Fixed incorrect context menu options when right-clicking viewpoints.
- Incorrectly imported materials now appear in fuchsia with a warning.
- Invisible material properties can no longer be modified.
- Other fixes: minor fixes to the login page and 3D model import.
